who is Imam Mahdi?

Imam mahdi
The term "MAHDI" is a title meaning "The Guided one".

Hadhrat Abdullah bin Mas'ood (R.A.) says that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said, "This world will not come to an end until one person from my progeny does not rule over the Arabs, and his name will be the same as my name." (Tirmidhi)

Hadhrat Ali (R.A.) narrates that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said, "Even if only a day remains for Qiyamah to come, yet Allah will surely send a man from my family who will fill this world with such justice and fairness, just as it initally was filled with oppression." (Abu Dawood)

 His Features:

Hadhrat Abu Saeed Khudri (R.A.) relates that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said, "Al Mahdi will be from my progeny. His forehead will be broad and his nose will be high. He will fill the world with justice and fairness at a time when the world will be filled with oppression. He will rule for seven years."

 Other ahadeeth inform us that:

* He will be tall
* He will be fair complexioned
* His facial features will be similar to those of Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam)
* His character will be exactly like that of Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam)
* His father's name will be Abdullah
* His mother's name will be Aamina
* He will speak with a slight stutter and occasionally this stutter will frustrate him causing him to hit his hand upon his thigh.
* His age at the time of his emergence will be forty years
* He will receive Knowledge from Allah.

His Emergence and Rule:

Hadhrat Umme Salmah (R.A.) narrates that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said, " After the death of a Ruler there will be some dispute between the people. At that time a citizen of Madina will flee (from Madinah) and go to Makkah. While in Makkah, certain people will approach him between Hajrul Aswad and Maqaame Ibraheem, and forcefully pledge their allegiance to him.

Thereafter a huge army will proceed from Syria to attack him but when they will be at Baida, which is between Makkah and Madina, they will be swallowed into the ground.

On seeing this, the Abdaals of Shaam as well as large numbers of people from Iraq will come to him and pledge their allegiance to him. Then a person from the Quraish, whose uncle will be from the Bani Kalb tribe will send an army to attack him, only to be overpowered, by the will of Allah. This (defeated) army will be that of the Bani Kalb. Unfortunate indeed is he who does not receive a share from the booty of the Kalb. This person (Imam Mahdi) will distribute the spoils of war after the battle. He will lead the people according to the Sunnat and during his reign Islam will spread throughout the world. He will remain till seven years (since his emergence). He will pass away and the Muslims will perform his Janazah salaat." (Abu Dawood)

According to a Hadeeth, Sayyidena Eesa (A.S.) will lead the Janaazah of Imam Mahdi (A.S.).

While the people will be pledging their allegiance to Imaam Mahdi, a voice from the unseen will call out:

"This is the representative of Allah,
The Mahdi, listen to him and obey him"

This announcement which will be heard by all those present will establish his authenticity. Another sign which will indicate the authenticity of Imaam Mahdi wil be that in the Ramadhaan prior to his emergence an eclipse of the sun and moon will occur.

Hadhrat Abu Umamah (R.A.) says that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said: "There will be four peace agreements between you and the Romans. The fourth agreement will be mediated through a person who will be from the progeny of Hadhrat Haroon (A.S.) and will be upheld for seven years."

The people asked: "O Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam), who will be the Imaam of the people at the time?"

Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said: "He will be from my progeny and will be forty years of age. His face will shine like a star and he will have a black spot on his left cheek. He will don two "Qutwaani" cloaks and will appear exactly as a person from the Bani Israeel..." (Tabrani)

According to hadith narrated by Abu Saeed Khudri (R.A.) Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said: "...(regarding the rule of Imaam Mahdi) the skies will rain down in abundance and the earth will yield forth its crop in abundance, and those alive will desire that those who have already passed away should have been alive to enjoy this prosperity..."

Hadhrat Buraidah (R.A.) says that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said: "There will be many armies after me. You must join that army which will come from Khurasaan." (Ibn Adi)

Abu Hurairah (R.A.) says that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said: "(Armies carrying) black flags will come from Khurasaan. No power will be able to stop them and they will finally reach Eela (Baitul Maqdas) where they will erect their flags."

appearance in Mecca and they will go to him to support him.

(These signs) are as the reports have mentioned. Among the total of
these events are some which are bound (to happen) and other which
are conditional. God knows best what will take place. We have only
mentioned them on the basis of what is recounted in basic sources of
tradition (usul) because of their inclusion in traditions which have
been handed down. From God we seek help and Him do we ask for
    success.

[Abu al-Hasan 'Ali b. Bilal al-Muhallabi informed me:
Muhammad b. Jafar al-Mu'addib told me on the authority of
Ahmad b. Idris, on the authority of 'Ali b. Muhammad b. Qutayba,
on the authority of al-Fadl b. Shadhan, on the authority of Ismaeil b.
al-Sabbah, who said: I heard an old man among our colleagues
mention on the authority of Sayf b. Umayra, who said:]

I (i.e. Sayf b. 'Umayra) was with Abu Jafar al-Mansur and he said
to me of his own accord: "There will certainly be a voice calling from
the sky the name of a man from the descendants of Abu Talib."

"May I be your ransom, Commander of the faithful," I said, "do
     you relate that?"

"Indeed, by Him in Whose hands is my life," he replied, "because
my own ears have heard it."

"Commander of the faithful," I said, "this tradition which you
have heard is before my time."

"Sayf, it is the truth," he told me. "When it happens, we will be the
first to answer it. Indeed the call will be for a man from the
     descendants of our uncle."

"A man from the descendants of Fatima, peace be on her?" I
     asked.

"Yes," he replied. "Sayf, if it was not for the fact that I have heard
from Abu Jafar Muhammad b. Ali (al-Baqir), who told me about it,
even though all the people of the earth have told me about it, I would
not accept it from them. However it was Muhammad b. Ali (al-
Baqir), peace be on them, (who told me)."

[Yahya b. Abi Talib reported on the authority of Ali b. Asim, on
the authority of Ata' b. al-Sa'ib, on the authority of his father on the
authority of Abd Allah b. Umar, who said:]

The Apostle of God, may God bless him and his family, said: "The
hour (of the end of the world) will not arise until the Mahdi from my
descendants comes forth. The Mahdi will not come forth until sixty
liars come forward, all of them declaring: 'I am a prophet.' "

[al-Fadl b. Shadhan reported on the authority of one who reported
it on the authority of Abu Hamza al-Thumali, who said:]

I (i.e. Abu Hamza al-Thumali) asked Abu Jafar (al-Baqir), peace
be on him: "Is the revolt of the Sufyani one of the things which must
    happen?"

"Yes," he replied. "The call is one of the things which must happen
as is the rising of the sun from the west one of the things which must
happen. The dispute of the Abbasids over the state is also one of
them and the killing of the pure soul (al-nafs al-zakiyya). The
appearance of the one who will arise (al-qa'im) from the family of
Muhammad, may God bless him and his family, is another of the
     things which must happen."

"How will the call be?" I asked.

"There will be a call from the sky at the beginning of the dayù
indeed the truth is with Ali; and his Shia,'' he said. "Then at the end
of the day, Satan will call from the earth - indeed the truth is with
Uthman and his supporters. At that the false one will feel doubt."

[al-Hasan b. Ali al-Washsha' (reported) on the authority of
Ahmad b. A'idh, on the authority of Abu Khadija, on the authority
of Abu Abd Allah (Ja'far al-Sadiq, peace be on him:]

(Jafar al-Sadiq) said: "The one who will arise (al-qa'im) will not
come forth until twelve of the Banu Hashim come forth before him,
all of them summoning men to themselves."

[Muhammad b. Abi al-Bilad (reported) on the authority of Ali b.
Muhammad al-Azdi, on the authority of his father, on the authority
     of his grandfather, who said:]

The Commander of the faithful, peace be on him, said: "Before the
    one who will arise (al-qa'im), there will be red death and white death;
there will be locusts at their usual time and at their unusual time like
the colours of blood. As for red death that is (from) the sword, while
    white death is (from) plague."

[al-Hasan b. Mahbub (reported) on the authority of 'Amr b. Abi
Miqdam, on the authority of Jabir al-Jufi on the authority of Abu-
Jafar (al-Baqir), peace be on him:]

(Al-Baqir) said: "Stay close to the ground. Don't move an arm or a
leg until you see the signs which I will mention to youùI don't think
that you will live until that time. The Abbasids will dispute; a voice
will call from the sky; one of the villages of Syria called
    al-Jabiyya will be swallowed up; the Turks will occupy the region of al-Jazira;
the Byzantines will attack al-Ramla; at that time there will be much
conflict throughout the land until Syria is destroyed. The cause of its
destruction will be the meeting of three standards there: the standard
of the Red, the standard of the Spotted and the standard of the
    Sufyam."

[Ali b. Abi Hamza (reported) on the authority of Abu al-Hasan
     Musa, peace be on him:]

Concerning the words of Him, the Mighty and High: We will show
them our signs on the horizons and in themselves so that it will become
clear to them that it is the truth [XLI 53], (Musa) said: "(There will be)
a disturbance on the horizons and the enemies of truth will be
    changed in form."

[Wahb b. (Abi) Hafs (reported) on the authority of Abu Basir, who
     said:]

I (i.e. Abu Basir) heard Abu Jafar (al-Baqir) speak concerning the
words of Him, the Exalted: If We wish, We will send down on them
signs from the sky, and their necks will remain bent submissively to
them (XXVI 4). He said: "God will do that to them."

    "Who are they?" I asked.

"The Umayyads and their supporters," he answered.

"What is the sign?" I asked.

"Between the decline of the sun (at noon) and the time of the
afternoon prayer, the sun will remain still," he said. "The chest and
face of man will appear in the centre of the sun, who will be
recognized by his standing and genealogy. That will occur in the time
of the Sufyani. At that moment his destruction will occur and the
     destruction of his people."

[Abd Allah b. Bukayr (reported) on the authority of Abd al-
Malik b. Ismail, on the authority of his father, on the authority of
     Said b. Jubayr:]

(Sa'id b. Jubayr) said: "In the year in which the Mahdl will rise,
twenty rain storms will rain on the earth. You will see their effects and
    benefits."

[al-Fadl b. Shadhan (reported) on the authority of Ahmad b.
Muhammad b. Abi Nasr , on the authority of Thalaba al-Azdi, who
     said:]

Abu Jafar (al-Baqir), peace be on him, said: "Two signs will come
before the one who will arise (al-qa'im), peace be on him: there will be
an eclipse of the sun in the middle of the month of Ramadan and an
eclipse of the moon at the end of it."

"Son of the Apostle of God," I said, "usually the eclipse of the sun
occurs at the end of the month and the eclipse of the moon occurs in
     the middle of it?"

"I know what I have said," replied Abu Jafar (al-Baqir), peace be
on him. "They are signs which have not occurred since Adam came
     down."

[Thalaba b. Maymun (reported) on the authority of Shuayb al-
Haddad, on the authority of Salih. b. Maytham, who said:]

I (i.e. Salih b. Maytham) heard Abu Jafar (al-Baqir), peace be on
him, say: "There is no longer than fifteen nights between the
appearance of the one who will rise (al-qa'im), peace be on him, and
the killing of the pure soul (al-nafs al-zakiyya)."

[Amr b Shamir (reported) on the authority of Jabir (al-Jufi) who
     said:]

I (i.e. Jabir al-Jufi) said to Abu Ja'far (al-Baqir), peace be on him:
    "When will this event occur?"

"Jabir, that will occur at a time when the killing between al-Hira
and Kufa is considerable," he replied.

[Muhammad b. Sinan (reported) on the authority of al-Husayn b.
al-Mukhtar, on the authority of Abu Abd Allah (Jafar al-Sadiq),
     peace be on him:]

(Ja'far al-Sadiq) said: "When the wall of the mosque of Kufa,
which adjoins the house of Abd Allah b. Masud is destroyed, then at
that time the ruler of the people will disappear. At his disappearance,
the one who will rise (al-qai'im), peace be on him, will come forth."

[Sayf b. 'Umayra (reported) on the authority of Bakr b.
Muhammad, on the authority of Abu 'Abd Allah (Jafar al-Sadiq),
     peace be on him:]

(Jafar al-Sadiq) said: "There will be three appearances in one year,
one month and one dayùthe Sufyani, the Khurasani and the
Yamam. The standard of guidance will not be among them, except
the standard of the Yamani, because he will summon (people) to the
    truth."

[al-Fadl b. Shadhan (reported) on the authority of Ahmad b.
Muhammad b. Abi Nasr, on the authority of Abu al-Hasan al-Rida,
     peace be on him:]

(Al-Rida) said: "What you stretch your necks for will not occur
until you are able to discern and to be tested. Only a few of you will
    remain."

Then he recited: Alif Lam. Do the people consider that they can
abandon saying " We believe whenever they are tempted? [XXIX 1-2].
He said: "Among the signs of the relief is an event which will occur
between the two mosques (of Mecca and Medina). So-and-so from
the descendants of so-and-so will kill fifteen leaders of the Arabs."

[Al-Fadl b. Shadhan (reported) on the authority of Muammar b.
Khallad, on the authority of Abu al-Hasan (al-Rida), peace be on
     him:]

(Al-Rida) said: "(It is as if I see) standards, dyed green, coming
from Egypt until they come to the Syrian (standards). Then they will
be guided to the descendant of the one who gave the testamentary
bequests of authority (to the Imams)."

[Hammad b. Isa (reported) on the authority of Ibrahim b. Umar
al-Yamani on the authority of Abu Basir, on the authority of Abu
Abd Allah (Jafar al-Sadiq), peace be on him:]

(Jafar al-Sadiq) said: "The kingdom of these men will not
disappear until they slaughter people in Kufa on Friday. It is as if I
was looking at heads falling between the Gate of al-Fil and (the place
    of) the soap-sellers."

[Ali b. Asbat (reported) on the authority of (Abu) al-Hasan b. al-
     Jahm, who said:]

A man asked Abu al-Hasan (Musa), peace be on him, about the
relief. He asked: "Do you want most of it or shall I give you a
    summary?"

"Would you give me a summary?" he said.

"(It will be) when the standards of Qays are carried in Egypt and
the standards of Kinda in Khurasan," he replied.

[Al-Husayn b. Abi 'Ala' (reported) on the authority of Abu Basir,
on the authority of Abu Abd Allah (Ja'far al-Sadiq), peace be on
     him:]

(Jafar al-Sadiq) said: "Because of the sons of so-and-so there will
be a battle at your mosqueùmeaning the mosque of Kufa. On one
Friday four thousand will be killed between the Gate of al-Fil to (the
place of) the soap-sellers. Beware of this street. Avoid it. Those who
are in the best situation will take the street of the Ansar."

[Ali b. Abi Hamza (reported) on the authority of Abu Basir, on
the authority of Abu 'Abd Allah (Jafar al-Sadiq), peace be on him:]

(Jafar al-Sadiq) said: "Before (the coming of) the one who will rise
(al-qa'im), peace be on him, there will be a year of abundant rain in
which the fruits and the dates on the palms will be destroyed. But
    don't complain of that."

[Ibrahim b. Muhammad (reported) on the authority of Ja'far b.
Sad, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Abu Abd
Allah (Jafar al-Sadiq), peace be on him:]

(Jafar al-Sadiq) said: "In the year of the Conquest (by the Mahdi)
the Euphrates will flood so that the water goes into the alleys of
    Kufa."

[It is reported in the account (hadith) of Muhammad b. Muslim,
     who said:]

I (i.e. Muhammad b. Muslim) heard Abu Abd Allah (Jafar al-
Sadiq), peace be on him, say: "Before (the coming) of the one who
will rise (al-qaim) there will be a trial from God."

"May I be your ransom, what is that?" I asked him.

He recited: Let Us test you with fear, with hunger, and with lack of
money, of lives and of harvests. Good news will come to those who are
steadfast [II 55]. Then he said: "The fear will be from the kings of the
Banu so-and-so; the hunger will be as a result of exorbitant prices; the
lack of money will be due to the failure of trade and the scarcity of
    surplus (goods) in it; the lack of lives will be because of swift death;
the lack of harvest will be due to the great rains and the little benefit
they bring to the crops." Then he continued: "The good news for
those who are steadfast is that the one who will rise (al-qa'im) will
    soon come forth."

[Al-Husayn b. Sa'id (reported) on the authority of Mundhir al-
Jawzi, on the authority of Abu Abd Allah (Jafar al-Sadiq), peace be
     on him:]

(Mundhir al-Jawzi) said: I heard (Ja'far al-Sadiq) say: "Before the
coming of the one who will rise (al-qa'im), peace be on him, the people
will be chided for their acts of disobedience by a fire which will appear
in the sky and a redness which will cover the sky. It will swallow up
Baghdad, it will swallow up Kufa. There blood will be shed and
houses destroyed. Death (fana) will occur amid their people and a
fear will come over the people of Iraq from which they shall have no
    rest."

EMERGENCE OF YA'JUJ & MA'JUJ

BEFORE QAYAMAT :

A short period after killing the Dajjal, Prophet Jesus will be informed of the release of Ya'juj and Ma'juj. Obeying Allah's command He will take the Muslims to Mount Tur for their protection as nobody will be able to kill the Ya'juj Ma'juj. Ya'juj and Ma'juj will come forth from every lofty place causing destruction and bloodshed wherever they go. Their first batch will come to lake Tiberias and drink all of its water.   Their last batch will come to it and say, "There was once water in this lake."
Marching on, carrying out pillage and murder to their left and right they will come to mount of Khamr (a mountain in Jerusalem)
and say, "We have killed the inhbitant of the Earth, let us now kill the inhabitants of heaven." Thus they will shoot their arrows towards the sky. Allah will return the arrows covered with blood and these fools will think they have killed those in the heaven. Mean while Prophet Jesus and his companions will remain confined until the head of an ox becomes more valuable than 100 gold coins. Prophet Jesus and his companions will pray for their destruction. Allah, answering their prayer will send insects upon the necks of Ya'juj Ma'juj and in the morning they will be found dead like one dead man. In the narration of Abu Saeed al- Khudri which can be found in Tadkhira of Imam Qurtubi, it has been mentioned; the believers not being able to hear their noise that morning will say "Will anybody sacrifice his life and see what the situation is." Volunteering, a believer will come down the mountain thinking that he will never return . However to his suprise he will find that they are all dead and he will shout, "Good news! Your enemy has died,"
Prophet Jesus and his companions will come down but will find that the earth is full with their stinking corpses. Yet again Prophet Jesus and his companions will turn to Allah and pray. Allah will send birds with necks like the necks of Bactarian camels which will carry the corpses and throw them where Allah wishes. Thereafter, Allah will send rain and the earth will be cleaned.

Save yourself from Dajjal:

Dua against Dajjal:

Allahumma inni a’udhu bika min ‘adhabi jahannam, wa min ‘adhabil-qabr, wa min fitnatil-mahya wal-mamat, wa min fitnatil-masihid-Dajjal.

O Allah! I seek Your protection from the torture of hell, and I seek Your protection from the torture of the grave, and I seek refuge with You from the mischief of life and death, and I seek Your protection from the mischief of Dajjal who is false Messiah.
Details:

The reciting of both the beginning and ending ten verses of Surat al-Kahf (the 18th sura of the Qur’an) has been transmitted from the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace). It is also recommended to recite the entire sura on Fridays.

Imam Mundhiri (Allah have mercy on him) devoted a chapter of his al-Targhib wa’l Tarhib (‘Encouragement and Warning’) to this,Encouraging reciting Surat Kahf, or Ten Verses from its Beginning or Ten from its End.
Abu al-Darda’ (Allah be pleased with him) related that the Prophet of Allah (Allah bless him & give him peace) said, “Whoever commits ten verses from the beginning Surat al-Kahf will be protected from the Dajjal.” [Muslim, Abu Dawud, Nasa’i, and others; the wording is Muslim’s]…
In a narration in Muslim and Abu Dawud it states, “From the end of Surat al-Kahf.” Tirmidhi related is with the words, “Whoever recites three verses from the beginning of al-Kahf will be protected from the tribulations of the Dajjal.” [Mundhiri, al-Targhib wa’l Tarhib, #2172-2173]
Imam Shafi`i (Allah have mercy on him) said in his Umm,
“It has reached us that whoever recites Surat al-Kahf on Fridays will be protected from the Dajjal.” [Shafi`i, al-Umm, 1.239]
It is recommended to recite Surat al-Kahf completely the night before Friday, and it is also recommended to do so Friday itself, before Maghrib time. Ibn Abidin said, “And it is best to do so early on Friday, in order to rush to the good and to avoid forgetting.” [Ibn Abidin, Radd al-Muhtar, ‘Bab al-Jumu`ah’]
The evidence for it being recommended includes the hadith related by Hakim and Bayhaqi, from Abu Sa`id (Allah be pleased with him), “Whoever recites Surat al-Kahf on Friday, light shall shine forth for him between the two Fridays.” [Ibn Hajar, Talkhis al-Habīr]
The wisdom behind it, as mentioned by hadith commentators such as Nawawi, Qurtubi, Qari, and others, is that:
1) There are tremendous signs and portents mentioned in these verses. However reads these regularly and ponders on their meanings with not be led astray by the Dajjal;
2) The surah as a whole has stories of the struggle between true belief in Allah and the realities of faith, and materialism.
3) It is a secret whose knowledge Allah alone posses, and we have follow it because of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace)’s guidance, with full certainty.

Rise and End of Dajjal

RISE OF DAJJAL

QayamatIslam
The Dajjal will rule over the world for 40 days, one day like a year, one day like a month, one day like a week, and the rest like regular days. Thus his rule will last for 14 months and 14 days.
He will appear from the East (in Iran, Afghanistan) and begin his campaign of mischief and corruption between Syria and Iraq. The Dajjal will have a large following of mainly the 70,000 Jews from Isfahan, Iran wearing Persian Shawls, Bedouins, and illegitimate people (those born outside of marriage).

Imraan son of Hussain says the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wasallam  said: "Those who hear about Dajjal should stay far from him. By Allah! A person will approach him thinking him to be a Believer, but on seeing his amazing feats he will become his follower."

Ubadah son of Saamit once said, "I have explained Dajjal to you but I fear that you might not have understood. Maseeh Dajjal will be short, and his legs will be crooked. The hair on his head will be extremely twisted. He will have one eye (with which he can see, and this is the protruding eye about which other ahadeeth inform us) while his other eye will be totally flat. It will neither be deep (in its socket) nor protruding.

If you still have any doubt regarding him then remember that your Sustainer (Rabb) is not one-eyed. (Because Dajjal will eventually claim to be Allah).
"

In a lengthy Hadeeth narrated by Abu Saeed, the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wasallam  is reported to have said: "Dajjal will come but it will be prohibited and impossible for him to enter Madina. He will set up camp in a barren land outside Madina." One person who will be the best of persons will confront him by saying: "I bear witness that you are the very Dajjal about whom the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wasallam  has informed us."
Dajjal will say to his followers, "If I kill this person and then revive him, you people will still doubt me?"

They will reply, "No."

He will then kill this person, (according to another narration he will split this person in two) and thereafter revive him. This person will say, "I am totally convinced more than ever before that you definitely are Dajjal."

Dajjal will attempt to kill this person again but his efforts will now be in vain.

(According to a hadeeth, after this incident, Dajjal will not be able to harm anyone.)

Hadhrat Anas says that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wasallam  said: "Dajjal will come and finally reach the outskirts of Madina. There will be three tremors. At that time, all the disbelievers and hypocrites will flee (from Madinah).

In this way Madinah Munawwarah will be purified of all the evil hypocrites."

Hadhrat Asma daughter of Yazeed narrates that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wasallam  once came to my house and there he spoke about Dajjal. He said that before the emergence of Dajjal there will be three spells of drought. In one year the skies will withhold one third of its rains, causing the earth to withhold one third of its produce. In the second year the skies will withhold two thirds of its rains, causing the earth to withhold two thirds of its produce. In the third year, the skies will withhold all its water and there will be no crops that year. All animals, be they hooved or toothed, will die as a result. The greatest evil of Dajjal will be to approach anyone and ask him: "If I bring your camel back to life, will you then believe that I am your Rabb?"
This person will reply, "Most certainly."

Thereafter Shaytaan (from the many Shayaateen who will always accompany the Dajjal) will appear before this person in the form of his camel with a fat hump and fully laden udders.

Likewise Dajjal will appear before another person whose father and brother have long passed away and ask him, "If I bring your father and brother back to life will you believe that I am your Rabb?"

This person will reply, "Why not?"

Shaytaan will once again take on the appearance of his brother and father...
(Ahmad)

Hadhrat Mughira son of Shu'bah says that, "No one asked the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wasallam  about Dajjal as much as myself. The Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wasallam  said to me, "How can he possibly harm you?"

I said: "People are saying that he will have with him a mountain of bread (provisions) and a river of water."

The Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wasallam  said: "In the sight of Allah he is much more disgraced than that. (i.e. Allah knows full well that in reality Dajjal has nothing with him, and all that which appears to be with him is but deception).

END OF DAJJAL

Qayamatislam
He would come to the people and invite them (to a wrong religion) and they would affirm their faith in him and respond to him. He would then give command to the sky and there would be rainfall upon the earth and it would grow crops. Then in the evening, their posturing animals would come to them with their humps very high and their udders full of milk and their flanks stretched. He would then come to another people and invite them. But they would reject him and he would go away from them and there would be drought for them and nothing would be lef t with them in the form of wealth .

He would then walk through the waste, land and say to it: Bring forth your treasures, and the treasures would come out and collect (themselves) before him like the swarm of bees. He would then call a person brimming with youth and strike him with the sword and cut him into two pieces and (make these pieces lie at a distance which is generally) between the archer and his target. He would then call (that young man) and he will come forward laughing with his face gleaming (with happiness) and it would at this very time that Allah would send Christ, son of Mary, and he will descend at the white minaret in the eastern side of Damscus wearing two garments lightly dyed with saffron and placing his hands on the wings of two Angels. When he would lower his head, there would fall beads of perspiration from his head, and when he would raise it up, beads like pearls would scatter from it. Every non-believer who would smell the odour of his self would die and his breath would reach as far as he would be able to see. He would then search for him (Dajjal) until he would catch hold of him at the gate of Ludd and would kill him. Then a people whom Allah had protected would come to Jesus, son of Mary, and he would wipe their faces and would inform them of their ranks in Paradise and it would be under such conditions that Allah would reveal to Jesus these words: I have brought forth from amongst My servants such people against whom none would be able to fight; you take these people safely to Tur, and then Allah would send Gog and Magog and they would swarm down from every slope. The first of them would pass the lake of Tibering and drink out of it. And when the last of them would pass, he would say: There was once water there. Jesus and his companions would then be besieged here (at Tur, and they would be so much hard pressed) that the head of the ox would be dearer to them than one hundred dinirs and Allah's Apostle, Jesus, and his companions would supplicate Allah, Who would send to them insects (which would attack their necks) and in the morning they would perish like one single person. Allah's Apostle, Jesus, and his companions would then come down to the earth and they would not find in the earth as much space as a single span which is not filled with their putrefaction and stench. Allah's Apostle, Jesus, and his companions would then again beseech Allah, Who would send birds whose necks would be like those of bactrin camels and they would carry them to  a safe place.

Then Allah would send rain which no house of clay or (the tent of) camel's hairs would keep out and it would wash away the earth until it could appear to be a mirror. Then the earth would be told to bring forth its fruit and restore its blessing and, as a result thereof, there would grow (such a big) pomegranate that a group of persons would be able to eat that, and seek shelter under its skin and milch cow would give so much milk that a whole party would be able to drink it. And the milch camel would give such (a large quantity of) milk that the whole tribe would be able to drink out of that and the milch sheep would give so much milk that the whole family would be able to drink out of that and at that time Allah would send a pleasant wind which would soothe (people) even under their armpits, and would take the life of every Muslim and only the wicked would survive and the Last Hour would come to them.

DETAILS OF DAJJAL

Dajjal the individual will be the epitome of the Dajjal system, the ultimate kaffir, and therefore inevitably to be chosen as the leader of that system, when he appears. The letters KFR are the basic root letters of the Arabic word Kufr, or Kaffir. Kufr is to cover up and to reject. The kaffir is the one who covers up the true nature of existence - and who rejects the messengers who are sent by Allah to show people how to live in harmony with what is within in them and with what is without them, and to worship and have knowledge of Allah. The Prophet Muhammad said that kufr is one system. The Kufr system is the Dajjal. The three aspects of Dajjal are in fact interlinked and indivisible.

The Dajjal is also described in the Hadith as having many eyes on both sides, and travelling about the world in large hops. Among other descriptions of the Dajjal in the Hadith collections we find the following:

The Dajjal can be heard all over the world at the same time.
The Dajjal will talk of the Fire (Jahannam), and make it. seem like the Garden (Jannah). Dajjal [the Sick Man of Humanity] will talk of the Garden, and make it seem like the Fire. [Two examples of these relate to matters of justice and peace. He will proclaim justice but he will pursue injustice, and he will proclaim peace but he will pursue the opposite of peace and every proclaimation by him of the so-called peace will be a deterioration of whatever is left of peace. That is, he will do exactly opposite of what he proclaims].
The following are facts taken from the sayings of the Messenger of Allah ( Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) regarding Dajjal the individual.

QAYAMAT

Meaning of Qayamat

Resurrection dayQayamat is a variant of the arabic word Qiyamah, which comes from the root word Qiyam (means to stand).

So the Day of Qayamat means the Day of Standing, which is also called the Day of Resurrection or the Day of Judgement.

It is the day when everyone will be resurrected and brought forward to their Lord and will be judged. The reason why it is called the Day of Standing (Day of Qiyamah) is because everyone will be standing. There will not be any sitting, or lying down or kneeling.

RESURRECTION DAY:

Surely, your Lord will judge them on the Day of Resurrection regarding everything they have disputed. [Ariah: 17]

The horn will be blown, whereupon they will rise from the grave and go to their Lord. [Ya Sin:]

KIAMAT/DAY OF RESURRECTION /JUDGEMENT

1. “There is no locality which will not be destroyed before the day of Judgment”. (Bani Israil- 446)

2. “Then on the day of resurrection you will be reawakened”-

(Muminun-16) 3. “ On the day of resurrection I will establish the beam of balance for justice.” (Ambia -47 )

4. “ Kafirs says that Qayamat (Resurrection Day) will not come . (You) say that definitely it will come. Promise of my protector, definitely it ( Kiamat) will come”. ( Shaba- -3)

5. “Qayamat (Day of resurrection) is definite, there is no doubt in it. But most of the people do not believe that.” (Mumin - 59 )

6. “ Issa is the precedence of resurrection day. So you do not doubt on resurrection day and follow me. This is the right/ perfect path.”(Jukhrukh-61)
7. “Those who do not believe on the day of Judgment, they are derailed from right path.” (Muminun - 74 )
8. “When resurrection day will be closer I will bring out an animal in-front of them from underground. That will talk to the men because ‘ Men did not believe my illustrations’.”- (Al- Namal -82 )
9. “” Allah will order you to rise from the ground, then you will come out.” ( Rum-28)
10. “ On that day resurrection will occur , that day the liars groups will be harmed.” ( Al-Zamia -27)
11. “ Re-Surrection day will not occur except Friday.”- (Al Hadis- Muslim)

Time of Qayamat:

When Allah decrees that all living beings should die, He will command the Angel (Israfeel) to blow the Trumpet, so he will give a mighty blast which will terrify all creatures, as a result of which they will swoon and die. Then they will stay like that for as long as Allah Decrees, which is described as 40 without specifying whether that is years, months or days -- Allah Knows best how long it is. Their bodies will decay within this period until there is nothing left but the bone at the base of the coccyx (a round bone at the base of the spine).

Then Allah will send a cloud that will release Rain, and when the water reaches this bone, bodies will grow from it like a plant grows and they will be Recreated from this bone, just as Allah created them the first time, for He is able to do all things. Then he will blow the Trumpet to signal the Resurrection, and the souls will return to their bodies and will come forth from their graves and hasten to the place of the gathering. We ask Allah for His mercy and kindness.

Muslims must prepare for these decisive moments by hastening to do righteous deeds and keeping away from evil things and bad deeds. If the Prophet (S) i.e. the one who feared Allah most said, "How can I feel at ease when the one who will blow the Trumpet has placed it to his mouth, bent his forehead and inclined his ear, waiting to see when he will be Ordered to blow it?" [At-Tirmidhi, graded Sahih by Shaykh Albani in Al-Silsilah;1079] then what about us who are weak and fall short? We ask Allah to make us among those who will not be grieved by the greatest terror when the Angels will meet them (with the greeting), "This is your Day which you were promised!" (Quran, Al-Anbiya' 21;103).

Signs of QAYAMAT or Judgement Day..!!

Though Allah only knows when the Last Hour before the Day of Resurrection will come, He has given us 'clues' about its approach through information in the Qur'an and the hadith of the Prophet. This article does not cover all the signs, but most of the important ones are here. All these signs are, of course, based on hadith and/or Qur'an, mainly the former.

The signs are divided into PAST,PRESENT and FUTURE

Past

1. Splitting of the Moon.
2. Death of the Prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.
3. A form of death which will kill thousands of Muslims. (Understood to refer to the plague of Amwas during the caliphate of ‘Umar ibn al-Khattab.)
4. A major fighting in Madinah (understood to refer to the battle of al-Harrah during the caliphate of Yazid, 63 AH).
5. The Muslim conquest of Jerusalem.

14. Knowledge will be taken away (by the death of people of knowledge), and ignorance will prevail.

"Knowledge of Islam will be taken away while ignorance will increase. This removal of knowledge will be because old scholars will die and fewer and fewer new scholars will replace them. The leaders of the Muslims will be chosen from ignorant people, and they will rule according to their whims." [Today, studying Islam formally is considered to be an inferior career in most of the Muslim world. The leaders of the Muslim world are more known for their political or military prowess (oppressive ability?) than Islamic knowledge.]
15. Wine (intoxicants, alcohol) will be drunk in great quantities.
16. Illegal s3x will become widespread.
17. Earthquakes will increase.

many will die fighting over it, each one hoping to be the one who gains the treasure.
26. The Romans (Europeans) will come to a place called A’maq or Wabiq, and an army of the best people will go forth from Madinah to face them.
27. The Muslim conquest of Rome.
28. The Mahdi (guided one) will appear, and be the Imam of the Muslims.
29. Jesus Christ(Prophet Isaa) will descend in Damascus, and pray behind the Mahdi.
30. Jesus will break the cross and kill the swine, i.e. destroy the false christianity.
31. The Antichrist (al-masih al-dajjal, the false christ) will appear, with all his tools of deception, and be an immense trial. He will be followed by 70,000 Jews from Isfahan (present-day Iran).
32. The appearance of Ya’juj and Ma’juj (Gog and Magog), and the associated tribulations.
("Gog and Magog (two hidden tribes of people) will break free of the dam that holds them back, and ravage the earth. They will drink all the water, and kill people until Allah sends against them a worm which will wipe them out." [This is roughly before/during the time of Isa, although it is not entirely clear.] )
33. The emergence of the Beast from the Earth, carrying the Staff of Moses and the Seal of Solomon, who will speak to the people, telling them they did not believe with certainty in the Divine Signs.
34. A major war between the Muslims (including Jews and Christians who truly believe in Jesus after his return) led by the Imam Mahdi, and the Jews plus other non-Muslims led by the Antichrist.
35. Jesus will kill the Antichrist at the gate of Ludd (Lod in present-day Israel, site of an airport and a major Israeli military base).
36. A time of great peace and serenity during and after the remaining lifetime of Jesus.
37. Wealth will come so abundant that it will become difficult to find someone to accept charity.
38. Arabia will become a land of gardens and rivers. [ it has started, many hotels and big construction projects are being made there, example, Hotel Burj-al-Arab]
39. Society will then decay.
40. The buttocks of the women of the tribe of Daws will again sway in circumambulation (tawaf) around the idol Dhul-Khulsah.
41. A great fire in the Hijaz, seen by the inhabitants of Busra.
42. Three major armies will sink into the earth: one in the east, one in the west, one in Arabia.
43. An Abyssinian leader with thin shins will destroy the Ka’bah.
44. The huge cloud of smoke.
45. The sun will rise from the west (its place of setting).
46. A gentle wind which will take the souls of the believers.
47. There is no-one left on the earth saying, "Allah, Allah" or "There is no god except Allah."
48. Eventually the Day of Judgment is established upon the worst of the people, who copulate like donkeys in public.
49. The blowing in the Trumpet by the Angel Israfil, upon which everyone will faint except as Allah wills.
50. The second blowing in the Trumpet, upon which everyone will be resurrected.
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) also said:
1. Alcohol will be called Sherbat, and will be considered Halal 2. Interest will be called Trade, and will be considered Halal 3. Bribes will be called Gifts, and will be considered Halal
4. Women will be naked in spite of wearing dresses. This Hadith has baffled the Ulema for a very long time-until now: The 3 kind of naked women are (i) Those who wear see-through dresses (ii) Those who wear tight dresses and (iii) those whose dresses are so short, that they expose the body
5. Women will have hair, like the hump of a camel. (This hadith too, had baffled the Ulema for quite a long time till they saw current hairstyles. I believe it came into fashion about 5 years ago.)
This list is far from complete; there are many other signs. A couple more of interest are: Constantinople (Istanbul) will fall before Rome to Islam (note that this means Rome will indeed fall), and the Muslim political system will go from Prophetic leadership to a just Khilafah to a 'biting' authority to an oppressive authority and finally back to a just Khilafah. It seems that today we are in the next to last stage of this chain; now is a good time to actively work for the reestablishment of the Muslim state and Khilafah.
Finally, the Prophet has said that when the Signs start to come, they will come FAST - like a string of beads falling one after the other.
And Allah Knows Best.
Have fun praying and getting ready for the day of judgement coz that day will NOT be fun :) P.S.: dont forget to make dua for me. !!

Sayings of Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.w):

1. Bani Israel were been divided in 72 sects and my Ummah will be divided in 73 sects. All the sects will go in Hell except one. Companions (r.a) asked: Oh Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.w)!, which sect will be on the right path?. Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.w) said: The one who follows My (Sunnah) and My Companion's (Sunnah). (Mishkawt)

2. There will appear, at the end of time, people who will be called Rafdhi [Shia (Rejecters)], they will reject the Islam. (Musnad Ahmed)

3. There will be, at the end of the time, people who are called Rafdhi (Shia), they will reject the Islam and spit it out. Thus, Kill Them for they are polytheist. (Majma-u-Zawaid)

Sayings of Hazrat Ali Murtaza (r.a):
1. With regard to me, two categories of people will be ruined, namely he who loves me too much and the love takes him away from rightfulness, and he who hates me too much and the hatred takes him away from rightfulness. The best man with regard to me is he who is on the middle course. So be with him and be with the great majority (of Muslims) because Allah's hand (of protection) is on keeping unity. (Nahj-ul-Balagah)

2. The best one after the Messenger of ALLAH (s.a.w.w) is Abu Bakr. And the best one after Abu Bakr is Umar." He also whipped those who claimed that he is better than Abu Bakr and Umar. (Ibn-e-Majah)

So it is the duty of all Muslims to be aware of this sign of Qayamat near us. We see this nation is in a minority as told by the Hadith and have not only rejected the Islam but even had cut the roots of the belief of a Muslim. The Jihad against them is the most prior (in peace and in war) to upkeep the religion of ALLAH. The one who fights back against them in any sense is being noted by ALLAH who will give the unlimited reward just not for the defense in the name of Him (s.w.t), Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.w), Companions (r.a), Ummahat-ul-Momineen (r.a) and the true Islam (the Islam of the Sunni's) but also for the sacrificing the lives and the utmost blood-shedding. May ALLAH keep away me, you and all Muslim Ummah from this biggest "Shar". Ameen!
